I personally feel its more of a challenge to use existing objects to create puzzles.

Kathleen Malcolmson made several puzzles using such miniature briefcases; at least five different ones.Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03334032625952910034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624115332992419601.post-74735716794363103682012-11-24T10:42:16.187+08:002012-11-24T10:42:16.187+08:00Great review here. It's interesting that this puzzle is made from an existing item. Probably was a puzzle itself creating it.Ashleyhttp://www.puzzlewarehouse.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624115332992419601.post-48609690773670770702012-06-21T09:17:56.688+08:002012-06-21T09:17:56.688+08:00Yes, I agree...the label is rather ambiguous...whe...Yes, I agree...the label is rather ambiguous...when I first saw it...the initial impression I had was that no force was needed...so actually I was handling the puzzle with kid gloves, until I read the label again...then I used "more" force.... but I think without the label there, some people would end up forcing open the lid and damaging it.Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03334032625952910034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624115332992419601.post-53215110528975795432012-06-21T09:11:02.386+08:002012-06-21T09:11:02.386+08:0010 mins! wow that's fast! And to fit that inside a box....Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03334032625952910034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624115332992419601.post-54328196376492567672012-06-21T06:24:58.965+08:002012-06-21T06:24:58.965+08:00"No major force required" ... that could..."No major force required" ... that could mean anything! How much force is major force? I like the name of the puzzle, but I don't enjoy these "hidden mechanism" puzzles so I'm glad you have solved it for me. ;-)Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10140920751826036814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624115332992419601.post-69557968807172636192012-06-21T00:31:01.169+08:002012-06-21T00:31:01.169+08:00I solved this at our last Midlands puzzle party. Definitely a clever mechanism but not pretty inside at all.

Kevin
PuzzlemadKevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05649523779226834414noreply@blogger.com
