IPP37 Puzzle Party - Part 1

This year's International Puzzle Party was held in Paris France from 4-6 August 2017. The venue for the festivities was the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Centre. And boy did we need a huge conference venue as there were 437 IPP attendees, including their spouses and partners, making it the second largest gathering of puzzle collectors and enthusiasts in its 37 year history.

The Puzzle Party is the second main event after the Puzzle Exchange the day before. Like all Puzzle Parties, the event is a huge puzzle market where all sorts of puzzles (including books and other puzzle related stuff), new, old, rare, collectibles are sold and (loads) of cash (Paypal and bank transfers included) change hands. It is also place where puzzle buyers who were not involved in the Puzzle Exchange can get their hands on some spare exchange puzzles. The crowds start to form from around 8:30am onwards and at 9am sharp when the doors open, the charge begins!

Here are the photos of the many puzzles that were on sale and some of their sellers. There are nearly 400 photos of the event so I will split up this blog post into 6 parts to show all of them. Scroll down to the end and link on to the rest of the other parts. Enjoy!
